Front Brake Lever-Right or Left?
So I think MOST of you (I could be wrong) have front brakes riding on your SS/FG. But I see most levers for front brakes go on the left handlebars, like most bikes with front and rear brakes. So I'm just wondering how many of you switch the lever to the right just so it's more convenient? Or am I just whack for even having this idea?

front brake on the right is common on bicycles in the UK and on motorcycles everywhere. So it's not izzacly wack.

My right hand is the dominant one so I put the brake there because it's more comfortable. Also I believe I would probably react faster with my dominant hand. Besides, you're supposed to use your left hand for signaling, not that anyone in the SSFG forum is lame enough to do that.

Well you can have a break lever on each side without looking excessively ugly. So everyone can be happy. ... Actually I might go for it if I can get a hand on it second hand. Too expensive you see?

I just leave it loose flopping off the frame. I reach down and grab it if I need it.

Of the last three bikes that I bought, two had the front brake on the left and the other on the right. The one with the brake on the right was assembled and set up by a "lefty".

i am gonna install brakes on my track bike when it arrives. i am thinking right as well, for the left hand to be free to signal and for my dominate hand to brake.
vote was almost dead even until i voted though 19-18.

I put mine on the left side of the stem, but facing so my right hand can grab it. It's centered in my bars.

Mine is on the right.
No idea why. When I built it, I just put it there without thought.
Possibly because my BMX had it's one and only brake on the right.
