Bassano cork(?) saddles???

I remember recently running into a Bassano cork(?) saddle for auction at eBay (which, of course, I lost my link to). Does anyone have the details or experience with these saddles? Are they really cork covered?? How durable is the covering? does it look good /match up with some uncolored Cinelli(?) cork bar tapes. Any nice close up pics anyone can post on this intriguing saddle?? I barely remember this saddle from years ago, but I suspect they were used on "boutique" collector bikes mostly, so it was interesting to see it for auction at eBay.
