I know its hard to tell... but wondering if any Peugeot experts can tell what model this is for the photo? Is it a px10?

There were only a few bikes with both rainbow decals and fully chrome forks. PH501's, PGN10's, PX/Z10's.

Could be a 1984-87 PH501 but it's hard to tell from the pics. Definitely worth $100 assuming frame/fork are undamaged. If you want it you'd better get your rear in gear as it's only a few miles from me( and about ten other people who'll want it at that price!)

did you get it? i saw it in the local CL too.

As retyred said there would be 10 other people in line to buy that bike and I would guess it's long gone.
I sold a very nice PH501 in the same market 2 weeks ago for almost 3 times the price of this one the day after it was listed.

I saw that listing too, you are the one with the nice camera.

I had given up on it but the seller called me this morning and I went and got it. It's a PGN-10 according to the manual the seller gave me. The seller said he had about 20 e mails so maybe he undervalued it a little. Ya think?
It's in good condition, just dirty. No dents or dings. Tires are so-so. The seat post adjustment bolt is on top of the seat post. Makes for a clean looking frame but a PITA to get to.

If it fits my wife it will be hers and I will put a 105 RD on it. It comes with a less than great RD I think.

Sorry Mr. ape. FWIW I saw the ad on CL, (and left a voice mail) before I checked this thread. I don't know if you buy many bikes on CL but if you ask on BF about a prospective purchase and wait for an answer chances are it will be sold already. BF-ers clued me in on that.

I have called on an ad that was 15 minutes old and missed out and I have also been the first to call and still missed out because someone lived closer and did some arm twisting on the seller.

I hope you find something that works for your girl.
