OK, I saw one of these awhile back and read about em, seems they are old school bikes in either single speed or 3 speed.

OK, 46 pounds each. No ****. 46 pounds! I live on the 4th floor and sometimes when the elevator is broken down i have to carry my 25 pound bike up or down 4 flights of stairs but now this, this one would kill me.
Anybody ever seen one of these in person or better yet, ridden one? Price is wrong they are 359, maybe thats another currency. Momovelo has em for 350.

Kronans are remakes of old Swedish Army standard issue bike. They weight a ton, but are kind of cool. Many of these about in Helsinki

Well yeah and bullet proof too. What's the frame made out of? Steel. The fenders? Steel. The rims are even steel which prolly explains the 46 pounds.
If there's ever a bicycle demolition derby thats my choice.

Now if only the tires could be made of steel too... I've heard that the navy seals have dune buggys that can take a 50 caliber slug to the wheel and not go flat - why not on my fix?

I've seen one of those around philly and never knew what it was till now. I haven't had a chance to chat with the owner tho. $350 for that tank of a bike doesn't seem like a bad deal tho.
