Richmond Riders - West Creek
Do any of you ride West Creek when it's dark out? Just wondering since it's getting darker earlier now. Looks like there is sufficient lighting but I would guess that you still need a light. Thoughts?

I don't ride on WCP, but I work nearby and drive that way occasionally. Given all the office buildings and the nearby highway, I wouldn't ride it at night without some kind of lights.

Thanks for the input. It looks like they have sodium cad (?) lights that are placed about every 30 meters apart on both sides of the roadway. I saw this weekend that they are running some heavy wiring on the sides of the road, so they may not be operational as of yet.

While the streetlights will help you see the road, having some lights on your bike will help motorists see you.

riding at night is not an issue, just get some Blinkers so others can see you
