Hello

I'm a Clyde, , 45 yoa, 6'2, 275 looking to lose about 50-60 pounds and my knees can't take the pounding of running. As a child and well into my early 20's I loved riding bicycles. My favorites were just the simple Schwinn single speed coaster brake bicycles. I don't think they exist anymore, just fond memories from the late 60's & 70's I guess. I love the simplicity. Now, as I research bikes, brands, etc... I'm blown away with the variety, technology, and gadgetry. I'm looking to learn, and get back into something I've always loved doing, enjoying time on two wheels. By the way, this is a great site. Hope you all enjoy your ride, today & always! - Rob

Welcome to Bike Forums, Rob. Check out the Classic & Vintage forum for more information on older bikes if that is what you are looking at buying.
