Portland's Cycle Track

Has anyone ridden on the new "cycle track" lanes in downtown Portland? What do you think?

This is right outside of the building I live in. I say it's great for headed south and longer rides. It makes left turns kinda tough though.

I've ridden on this numerous times now and like it. I also like the new buffered bike lanes on SW Oak and Stark. Drivers are still sometimes a bit confused about them, but that should get better quickly with acclimation.

OH MY GAWD
This is the worst part of my commute!
I ride SE PDX no prob, SW no prob, downtown no prob.
But this section I use my bell almost constantly every day. You need to watch for doors and peds on the left as well as the right. Often there is someone parked in the bike lane which means you then need to thread between parked cars with the possibility of getting doored from both sides.
And for some reason the peds waiting to cross the street are drawn to stand in the bike lane and need gentle encouragement to get back on the curb.
