MuSl My new folder.
I picked up a 2007 Dahon MuSl three weeks ago. It is in excellent condition and a pleasure to ride. I replaced the grips and brake levers. I am going to order a seat adapter so I can use my saddle. Super light at 19 pounds and rides great. I keep it in my pickup truck so I can use it when needed. I like the easy fold and its looks great. i get quite a few compliments and people are surprised when they lift it and it is so light.

Looks good! I just got one, too. What grips did you go with? Do you cut off the old ones? I never owned a bike with grips and would like to replace mine, too.

Great looking bike! Weighs only 19 pounds you say! I hope you have many "miles of smiles" riding it.

I did not see the grips on this one, but "normal grips" can be remowed if you can get some water undr them. I use a syringe, but it is possible also without. After you get some water under it start twisting and try to get the water to spread out. Also ty to ad more water. Easy when you did it 2-3 times.

Planet Bike grips. I use soapy water in a spray bottle and a long thin screwdriver to get grips off.

The SDG Belair SL is actually quite good. Needs some kilometers to break in. The foam grips are also good. Super light. And they too get comfortable after time. Also the Avid brake levers are good. Only the Stelvio tires, I would prefer the Kojak instead. Otherwise just a perfect bike, nice choice of components. I like the 2007 over the newer models because of the Pantour hub. Does a good job cushioning small/high frequency bumps.

I have that seat post/saddle combination and I really like it. The seat post is about one third the weight of the standard Dahon post and it has a fair amount of flex that softens the ride a lot. The saddle is very simple in design and has a lot of flex at the rear end which again softens the ride a lot.
