How to Determine Age if a Trek 7500

I have a Trek 7500 hybrid and need to sell it to provide partial funding for a move to a road bike. I am the second owner of the Trek and need to face the fact that a prospective buyer will ask "What year is it?" How do you determine that? I'm guessing this one is in the 2001-2004 range.

Go to Bikepedia.com and check the various years for the model it is. You will be able to narrow it down quickly.
