Just one race? Don't we have enough racers for A,B,C and beginner categories? If there was a beginner race, I'd be tempted to throw cross tires and a freewheel on my old Gitane fixie conversion and come out for it. Until then, I'll keep riding my geared CX bike with the slow riders.
