Did someone say "I need more spokes"?

Saw this bike in the window of Al Petri & Sons bike shop in Lincoln Park and thought I would share with others who have spoke envy.

Can you even get a spoke wrench in there to true it, should things go awry?

Beautiful... but an absolute pain to build.

Once built these wheels don't go out of true.

Lordy, I sure hope not. They look horrible to build, but awesome on the bike.

At what point do you give up on adding more spokes and just go with a CNC'd polished disc like a motorcycle?

Doesn't the drive wheel need at least some semi-tangential spokes to transfer torque?
