Straightened the chain line and it still rat
So I replaced the front cog with a da cog and it still rattles the chain appears to wiggle back and forth ~~~a very very small amount as it comes down the chain line. It makes a rattling sound when it gets to the cog.

Put a load of teflon chain lube on the chain, see if that helps.
I just changed to dura ace cogs. 13t 14t and 15t. At first it was noisy, I loaded the chain with a fresh load of teflon chain lube and it's much quieter now. My chainline is perfect.

THIS is most likely your problem. It's my problem as well, I tried SHELDON'S method of achieving a decent tension a couple times. Then I realized I was using the 3/32 chain ring from the road bike with a predominantly 1/8 drive train.
EDIT: If I'm not mistaken this is to be used indoors at home? Have you tried riding outside?
