Super Roubaix Leg Warmers Review
A few weeks ago I picked up some Super Roubaix Leg Warmers on ebay from "Zimco Imports" in anticipation of the cold weather. They cost about $15. I got a chance to try them out on Sunday while I rode the Perkiomen Trail. It was about 50 degrees out, wet and muddy. We rode about 20 miles. I tucked the leg warmers under the leg opening of my Falconi bibs. They leg warmers have a thin fleece coating on the inside. No problems with the warmers falling down at all. I didn't notice a chill with them on either. I'm curious to see how they'll perform at 40 degrees and lower. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase especially considering the price.

Do they have zippers near the ankle area for easy removal if you need to?

I don't see why! I use my tights and or leg covers at 60 degrees. I used to NEVER wear leg covers till I read it's just better to keep the chill away from the knees. I started wearing them and now wonder why I even rode at all without them in 60 weather. Maybe I'm just getting old!
November, have you ever tried tights? I used to like leg covers till I tried the complete tights. I got a pair of Pearl Izumis on sale for $64 and never looked back. I don't think I'd like the leg warmers anymore. Tights are well worth every penny more that I paid than the leg covers.

They were fine at 50. Edging up towards 60? I don't know. Might get a little too warm then.
I thought about getting some tights, but these were only $15. I figured I'd see if I liked these first before I commit to a larger purchase. I know that is penny-wise and pound-foolish, but $15 is easier to spend right now. I bet those Pearl Izumi's are nice, though. I'm sure I'll get a pair of cold-weather bib tights in the future for even colder rides.
