Carbon Seatpost Stuck in Carbon Frame

A friend mentioned he has a carbon seatpost stuck in his carbon Cannondale frame. I don't know the details, but just thought I'd post here to see if there are any suggestions.

Try a rubber mallet and giving the seat rails a few whacks in the upward direction. Usually a couple of taps will knock it loose.
