I know some of you guys buy everything you can afford, but I won't waste money on a bike unless it gives a distinct advantage over what I have.
Towards that end, I'd like a Dahon Mu XL Sport, but I can't justify it because it's too similar to my Downtube 8H.

I am thinking of a Moulton (suspension + separable which hopefully will be easier to get in and out of my trunk).
When I got my BF NWT earlier this year I decided not to look at other bikes before I will have at least 3K miles on it (I have now about 1K). Also, I don't want to own more than one bike. Life is simpler this way ;-)

I think two bikes per person is the correct number - one for going to the store and riding around the neighborhood, and one for longer rides and touring. I like fatter tires when riding in the city.
I know, we have three bikes each right now, however we are temporarily living in two different places, and those SLUG cruisers (Lifestyle bikes at the beach) will be sold with the condo.
As far as what would I like - current NWT is totally great for longer rides. The Dahon S1 with 1.75" tires is a good market bike here in flat East Vancouver (USA), but ultimately a bike with a stiffer frame, similar or wider tires and some gears would be better (Pocket Llama?).
If we commuted - no plans to go back to work...lol - a tikit or Brompton might also be necessary or replace the market bike.
If I just wanted to spend money (lots of money) and be on the street a few years earlier than we will be, I would opt for either of those Moultons!!! Nice bikes. My wife works hard to keep my desires in line.

I'm not sure if the Sat-R-Day's made any more. At any rate, my understanding is that it didn't ride particularly well -- tended to fold on you while riding up hills. Or something like that. Perhaps you'd like a Grasshopper FX instead?

This is my Custom Bridgestone Moulton Sport. I have since changed the chain wheels. Fitted MKS clipless pedals and a Black Brooks Swift saddle. Oh and the handlebar tape is now a much stronger red (used red leather dye) as I thought the original colour looked too pink
I’m surprised that so many people seem to aspire to a Moulton. I’ve got several myself and would like an AM GT next.
I’d also like an Airnimal Rhino to ride some trails.
