The Dart is the cheapest fork that RockShox makes. I wouldn't recommend it, especially for a Clyde. Save your money, shop around, and buy something decent. The RockShox Revelation and Pike are pretty good forks. I tend to like Fox forks a bit better, but they're quite over-priced compared to RockShox.

My Rockhopper Comp had a Dart 3 Series and it held up well for a season...But nothing beats a FOX from what I have seen and heard!

Your Karate Monkey needs a 29er fork (700C) - I fear the Dart is only available in 26" size and will not work with the larger wheels on the KM.

I just sold my Rock Shox Dart 3 29'er fork on eBay.....
Dart 3 is stock on the Raleigh Mojave 29 (Now the Talus), so I think it's fair to say that they exist....

The Dart is inexpensive, yes. (My new take-off one sold for $74) But it is also plenty sturdy for a clyde, and maybe even preferable to a "better" fork.
