Back in the Saddle
Yo, Im new to the Florida east coast and seemed to have bought a house in an area with many miles of flat trails that run through Mangrove lined state and county parks. So after many years of not owning a bike I picked up a Nishiki Backroads last night on CL. I hope to learn more aboutthe bike here as there seems to be a lot of confusion when I compare mine with what Ive read in some of the threads.

Right now my wife and I are just getting back in to riding bikes after a 25 year abstinance. I just picked up a Trek300 for her on CL and now wish I got something with shocks as the miles of flat dirt roads that crisscross the state and county parks around here have lots of bumps. My butt may eventualy get used to it but she says she doesnt feel them at all with her front and back shocks. We are doing about 5 miles every evening just to get in shape for longer trips.
