Hello all, I have been hanging out in the C+V section since I found this great site. I have been bitten by the touring bug lately since I ended up with some sweet bikes and plan on putting them to use some day soon.
I have 2 right now, But one is a project as you can see.
My Trek 520 "Cirrus" I doubt the bike had 50 miles on it when I picked it up. The tires were dry rotted and it was missing a crank arm. I replaced the crank set and tires then added a brooks. I toyed with selling it but came to my senses.
This poor, poor Miyata 610 that I plan to build one day

Nice Trek but the Miyata needs some love. Is the paint rusted or just dirty? If rusted, it might be a good candidate for an inexpensive powdercoat.

Ha!
The 1st pic I ever posted here was a pic of a red-on-grey Miyata 310 I'd resurrected for commuting. It was posed in my laundry room as well - must be a Texas thing.
Welcome Zach.
