Joco, The short answer would be yes, definitely. But that leads to the long version which would be how and how much. A large part of that equation would be what you would expect of the bike mainly in regards to the amount of distance between charges that you would like to travel and what type of terrain, flat, hilly or a combination do you want to ride. You will get better answers to your questions if you can supply that much info from the informed folks here.

PS: For sure budget in a slightly larger saddle though as that one will not be very comfortable for someone your size.

dont want to spend to mutch and would like to be simple..

i saw some stuff before...just a motor that toutch the back well..a friction type off outfit it was nice..but i have a hard time to find models off those.

joco,

Welcome. You should not have problems adding a conversion kit to that bicycle. As for inexpensive friction kits, here's a link to a post in the Endless Sphere forums showing a very low-cost home made friction kit with great power. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/vie...210629a6f06321 I would also suggest you join that forum as it's focus is electric bikes and there's a lot more technical information on kits, parts and batteries. You'll also find a lot of Canadian e-bikers participating, including some from your area who have build their own e-bikes. Good luck. Take your time researching and deciding what features are important for you. You should then be happy with the e-bike you build.
