Shimano 600 brake, side-to-side play! (with video)
Hi,
I am having problems centering my Shimano 600 rear brake. One of the problems is that there is some side to side play. I cannot figure out what is causing this...
Here is a video I made.
Any ideas?

Yes! All nuts stay in position when it goes side to side. The spring holder nut stays in place aswell.. Only the arms move..

You might need to remove the caliper from the frame to tighten the adjusting nut on the backside of the caliper:

I am not sure but I think this is normal. (although the remedy put forth by dessertdork sounds good) the brakes arms are free to pivot on center bolt and the return spring floats to some degree. if there is alot of play in the groove where the spring rest the arms will move more. while these brakes look a little loose it does not see to be a huge ammount. do the front brake move like this?
