1986 Trek 520 value?
I found this on ebay a year or two ago, and have ridden it only a handful of times. Charcoal grey with red graphics, cutout head tube lugs and the "trek" rear frame bits. condition overall is very good, and 531 tubing with CrMo forks. Brakes are not cantilever, but 600 sidepull. It has sealed bearing wheels, so I may be keeping those... Anyone want to chance a value on this thing. I just don't want to be one of those ridiculed people, yah know?
It was a local pickup only, and WAY out of town, so it stayed low when I bought it. WELL below it's actual value....

That's a classy color and based on the condition, I'd guess ~ $400. It's a tall bike and might take a little longer to sell, but I would think that a tall person looking for a really fine vintage touring bike would be happy to have it at that price. Maybe even a bit more.

Because of the huge frame size, $350. +1 to the $400 mark if it was a more common size. The super nice appearance will help it sell for sure.
I have had mixed results selling big bikes locally. It took me a year to sell a pristine 25 inch frame 1972 Schwinn Super Sport for a below market price. Then one week later, I sold a Schwinn Prelude that size for full market.
This assumes local sale. You might do better on ebay, but thats a crap shoot.

That looks a lot like my 87. I posted it at 600 and had hits, Both from around Houston.
Edit-
Mine has Cantis and is around a 62cm. Not sure what size that one is.
