Which bike to buy

Looking at getting a new FS 29, GF HiFi deluxe or the Specialized FSR comp. Both about the same cost. The components seem to be on par but I am not sure how to compare them.. Gary Fisher claims to have the 29ner down to a science. No LBS has any my size to ride and compare. can anyone offer me some giuidance?

I rode them and the GF was a little better handling, in my opinion. Both bikes felt too heavy and hard to maneuver for me though, so I went with a carbon 26" bike. I didn't get to take them on a trail where I might have felt the benefits of rolling over things, but if you haven't ridden these bikes, I would suggest you find a way to do so before buying them. They have a different feel that some like. I wasn't sold on it, and they are heavy bikes.
