'87 Bianchi Premio
The guy wants $225 for this and says it was ridden maybe ten times back when he originally bought it. I have no doubt it's clean I just wonder if this is more than a guy should have to pay given the taiwanese manufacturing with not the greatest steel tubeset.

If thats your pre-determined mindset then the anser is no. But if you'd like a nice late 80's lugged steel road with virtualy no miles the answer is yes. To be honest, this isnt the bike fror you.

No, I'm pretty sure I'm strongly considering it. Never hurts to get another opinion though that opinion might not address the question, but their perception of it. I'm going to call that a neutral or I don't know answer and see if anyone cares to put voice to another opinion. Your answer to the question of if it would be too much to pay was "But if you'd like a nice late 80's lugged steel road with virtualy no miles the answer is yes." I'm actually a little confused if that's what you meant or the opposite or just thought the thread looked lonely and bombed it.
Maybe in pointing out that the bike in question is not a premio example of vaunted italian craftsmanship with the finest materials at hand it had the tendency to skew the meat of the question. In less contestable terms is a bike of this make, model, and vintage appropriately priced if in excellent condition.
