Downtube (2007 VIIIH) headset size

I want to replace the head-set with a cartridge head-set on a 2007 Downtube VIIIH. What's the head-set size? Also, has anyone done this? The handle is very hard to turn, and I see rust stains coming out at the bearing. Thanks.

OK, thanks.

Is there something odd with this bike's headset? LBS said cartridge headsets are very hard to get these days, and they'd just overhaul the factory one. Seems straightforward to find one online...
