Race Tire
I did a search and didn't find anything similar. I'm looking for some clincher racing tires. I've looked at continental, Vittoria, Michelin.... What are the best?

Making a kilometer blurry
I've never felt much difference in tires. I'm as happy on $22 Fortes (Panaracers) as $60 Michelins. I don't notice it in crit corners, training, TTs, wins, losses, nothing. Maybe I'm just insensitive.

+1. Only difference I notice is in wear + cut resistance. But ride quality, they are all the same to me.

I had the Panaracers, pretty much got a flat on every ride. Then I switched to Continentals and the flats went away...

I haven't ridden all of them, but I am very impressed by Schwalbe Ultremos... and the new Schwalbe Ultremo wet-weather tyre has me very, VERY impressed.
(I live in seattle, this is a big deal)
IMO, get 2 or three kinds, try them, go from there.

I thought I felt this way. I even thought I probably wasted the $ for the PR3's. I then raced on the PR3's.

I like the PR3 but found the Vittoria cut too easily. I also like the Maxxis xenith and just got a couple sets of columbiere which are suppose to be the next step up.

So there's the Pro 3 Race Light and the Pro 3 Race normal... It says the Light are lighter (duh) but they wear faster... I'll probably just stick with the normal ones. Its only 20g

I've been very happy with Scwalbe Ultremo R1. Super light, sticky and good luck (knocks wood) with punctures. Great ride quality, too.
I also really liked PR3's.
Bad luck with conti GP4000's.

love the ultremos for ride quality but hated them for durability.
had really good luck with GPs for durability so far.

my fault i was imprecice, but i also found them not to be particularly flat resistant.
but i was training on them, not racing (lesson learned), so thats unfair of me to judge them in that context.

I find all of the "which tire is best" threads to be pretty much snake oil sales. I am guilty of this myself, since I definitely have a favorite clincher (Vittoria Open Corsa) and feel like I've had fewer flats with it than previous tires. I wonder if I was involved in a blind test where I didn't know the tire and just rode whether I would really see much difference in # of flats from a statistical point of view.

Everyone has their favorite. Mine is the (now defunct) Michelin PR2. Once I am all out of those, I'll have to find a new favorite tire.
My favorite racing tire of the ones I've tried is the Conti Sprinter tubular. Corners better and rides smoother than any of the clinchers tires I have or have every used. I have experience with only the one tubular tire though, so I wouldn't take this as an endorsement of the Sprinter per se, but more of an endorsement of tubular tires over clinchers for racing purposes.

Hmmm... might have to check it out sometime then. I still have probably enough tires for this season stocked up, so it's a theoretical problem at this point.

I like the Schwalbe Ultremo too. But I've only raced on it. It looks a little thin for a daily rider. I'll probably save it for a crit only tire and train/commute on Contis.
