Down from XXL to XL.
I am now less fat than I was 3.5 years ago when I got married. I've been religiously tracking what I eat and exercise and have been dropping sizes. I mostly eat fruit, almonds, and yogurt for breakfast and lunch, less of whatever my wife makes for dinner and of course ride my bike (20mi/day). Only down side is my wedding ring and engineer's ring are too big and keep sliding around. The wedding ring could be resized I guess but the engineer's ring is steel. Oh well, its better than a heart attack at 35.

Congratulations! I went from XXLs to Ls in the polo shirts I wear to work. The wedding ring thing I can relate to. It has fallen off a number of times but so far I've always found it. I got in the habit of taking it off for rides just to be safe.

You can buy things called Ring Sizers that are basically pieces of plastic tubing that fit under the ring. I've had to get one for my wedding bad since it is titanium and can't easiely be resized. We got ours at WalMart for a couple bucks for a pack of 10-25.

Also - if you wear XL I do not think you would be considered fat: more of an athlete.

DITTO on going from XXL to XL, dropped from 242 to @220, 6'3". Feels good. I did have a "Septal Infarct" when I was 50. Not fun and a long road back. Keep tacking those losses and celebrate them. Pay attention to the heart pressure and overall cardio system. Everything is better when you have good health, all the really good stuff that is.
