Better Late than Never? - My *new* Bike
So that it is official, here is a photo of my Bicycle, bought prior to my TKR. It hung from my garage ceiling staring at me all during my PT.
Today, I did my first 10+ mile ride with another rider, so decided to Post a photo taken today to celebrate!

People have told me to go to smaller tires... the Marathons are 2" and I put 80 PSI in them. I would have to drop to 1" or 1.25" to get to 100PSI tires... Is there that much speed gain to trade off the *secure* feel of the ride? I dunno.
A lady with a "Electra Townie" had her stock tires changed at Ernie's while I was chatting with her husband. Had 2" 60PSI, went to 1" 110PSI tires - went out into the parking lot and exclaimed right away how much faster her bike was????
But, what are the trade-offs???

don't know really its up to you and where you usually cycle. i noticed it straight away that there was less drag and you have to work less so it was all positive for me. the 1.25" are still quite wide to keep the secure feel i think but thats just me, i don't go off road that much. i got my schwalbe city jet on special offer for about 20 euro so i just thought what the hey and tried them out. you can always go back if you don't like it but i don't think you will

If it makes you happy riding it the way it is then just leave it at that.

That's awesome. I was actually going to get that bike but opted for the Seek instead.
