Jacket
I'm looking to get a 4x jacket to wear to help keep my arms warmer until it warms up here. I don't seem to like the selections at aerotech designs. Anyone else have recommendations? I need this thing before a 25 miler I am doing next Sunday.
Thanks,
Jason

No suggestions on a jacket but you could look into arm warmers if it isn't too cold outside.

Why not try to find a pair of arm warmers that will fit? I ride with arm warmers down to about 50 degrees. When a day starts cool and then warms up, the arm warmers can be tucked into a jersey pocket.

So zoste, was the simulpost as good for you as it was for me? Same suggestion no less.

I have several twenty dollar, half zippered fleece pull-over jackets... I don't ride in the rain. I buy them a little small so they don't flap. Any discount dept. or sporting goods store. You might have a bit of search for a 4x.
The last one that my wife picked up (don't recall where) has elastic in the waist...nice!

Sweet- thanks for the links to those guys- I've been looking for well made cycling gear that doesn't require me looking like a spandex power ranger, at least until I drop weight haha. They have great prices too.

personally, I prefer a closer fit. I purchased from SteapandCheap.com a ShowersPass Elite Pro and an Elite 2.1 rain jackets. The Pro is a tighter fit. Both, by their sizing charts show to be oversized so I grabbed a large. the Elite 2.1 fit great( little tighter than the guy in the photo) but the Elite Pro fit more like a casual jersey. I thought it was too tight and exchanged it for a XL which now I wish was the Large since it flaps in the wind. Add in the fact that I lost weight and now I really wish I had purchased the Large. For comparison, I have been wearing XL in US jerseys and XXL in Euro jerseys for the most part.
Check out Showers Pass for jackets too. I have been happy with mine and Steap and Cheap had run sales on them. Might also check their other sites:
Backcountry.com
Competitivecyclist.com
Sometimes they consolidate or change prices at each site.
I have been happy with their rain jackets and they do make jackets for various conditions and sports so you could find a warm one if needed.
What temps are you aiming for? For me, anything in the 50's to 60's is just a windbreaker or rain jacket which I might remove later in the day.

The breathable jacket arrived yesterday. It is very nice and while I have not ridden on the road with it yet I did try it on. I prefer the fit over my castelli h2o jacket. For info if you are looking for one and curious about the sizes. I wear a size 54 suit coat and i ordered a 3x jacket. It is a little big and i will likely order a 2x.

great to hear you like the jacket.
just an FYI, both Showers Pass jackets I have purchased have rear vents. The Elite Pro has a small one at the top with a zipper closure while the Elite 2.1 has a mesh scapular region (yes the ENTIRE upper shoulders) with a waterproof layer/cloth over it. The reflective stripe is open to let air out. When the front of this jacket is opened or the vents are opened, you can really feel the air go out that flap. I (almost) wish they put a zipper on it to reduce the air loss but, at the same time, if I need it closed I would think that the jacket might not be the right choice for conditions if I am cold. Of course, I have others to choose from when that is the case.
To me, the only other ting I would like would be for a small patch of Velcro to hold the rear drop tail up and tucked under so that I could wear the jacket when I am not cycling. Of course a couple dollar to a seamstress could solve that too.
Enjoy the jacket.
