G'day all...
Fabulous forum for a middle aged expat Ozzie bike nut who hates spending retirement money for wrenches. I'd rather do it myself. Here in Seal Beach, CA, we have numerous bike paths along the coast and up the rivers, but no hills to train on (probably just as well). Riding a beautiful red Lemond Buenes Aires, older but true, just like rider.

The biggest hill in Seal Beach crosses over the 405 fwy. Ride around Signal Hill for quick climbing. Welcome to the forums.
