Top tube and standover?
For 6" and inseam of 34" is a 58cm bike with a tt of 55.5cm and standover of 32.9 inches fine? or should i go bigger or smaller? the next size up is is 56cm tt and 34" that seems a little high for a standover, but with the 58 55.5cm tt isn't too cramped?

Try bikes at a shop or use a fit calculator. Meanwhile, you'll get lots of differing advice here that can't actually address your dimensions, riding style, or preferences.

ok i feel like just saying "+1" isn't helpful to u at all. I was hoping someone would explain it.
It'll be best if u can follow that fit calculator kyselad posted. Otherwise, generally for me I look at standover only as a reference. TT length is more important for me coz I don't want to feel too cramped or too stretched out, and i feel like standover isn't really much of an issue. Ur saddle will be raised anyway. And if u're afraid of hitting and damaging something downstairs, usually when u get off ur bike is tilted and it shouldn't matter much.
