Healthrider SCOOTIE??
I am looking at a recumbent, or semi recumbent.
I have considered the Giant Revive, but am not sure I would be happy with it.
Someone mentioned the SCOOTIE as an alternative, and I do like the looks of this bike.
It seems the nearest dealer is 60-100 miles from me, and they are not true bike "shops", but more of an exercise facility.
Does anyone here have any opinions on this bike...poitive OR negative?

I found the Revive standard 8 speed model to be very comfortable. Reliable and good workmanship. I have it for more than 4 months and nearly 2,000 km., still does not find any thing wrong with it. The low price quoted by Giant is because of the higher efficiency of a bigger company compare with small outfits that manufacture traditional recumbents. If you do not plan to use in mountainous countries, I think Revive is what you should consider.
