Quick Brake Lever Question
This is my second brake lever size question....
So i bought these in 24mm
https://www.universalcycles.com/shopp...80&category=10
It fit the small part of my bars, but once it was on, i have no room for my hand....and i didnt want to cover that cinelli logo. so now im going to put it on the larger part of the bars and barely cover that pretty logo. here's my issue. the first cane creek levers say theyll fit the bulge of 26mm. well the larger part of my parts is 26mm. the smaller is 24mm. and they dont fit the larger part and barely fit the smaller part.
so im going to get these
https://www.universalcycles.com/shopp...87&category=10
in 26mm. so will they fit?
sorry about the maybe simple yet stupid question, this is the third part in this bike build im doing that hasn't fit the way i thought it should. so sick of sending parts back and forth.

yeah, sounds like 26.4mm cinelli bars. this special size always gives problems like these.
the only way to know for sure is to own a pair of vernier or mitutoyo calipers.
the only way to get cross levers on 26.4mm bars is to use 31.8mm and shim them down.

26mm levers fit very snugly on 26mm bars.

so snug that there wont be .4mm of room to make it fit??? i feel like shimming to a 31.8mm size is a little much.....id almost rather take out the grinder and make myself another .4mm
