Schwalbe Big Apple

Hi
I want to know if anybody is using this tire Schwalbe BIG APPLE LITESKIN on touring ,I am thinking to use it on my trailer,but I am not sure if they have good protection like the Marathon Plus

You can be certain you won't have the flat protection of a Marathon Plus...they are two completely different tires...if you want flat protection get the Marathon Plus...if you want a reasonably low rolling resistance tire the Big Apple is a good choice. If you want something in between the two get a standard Marathon.

Having just patched a leak in my Big Apple I concur with vik. But it certainly is one of the smoothest rides I've ever had. They came with my Dahon Jack.
