I missed it!

That sucks about getting sprayed by a skunk. Happened to me once when I was living down in North Carolina. It literally made me vomit uncontrollably.

yeah, i meant the bike.

I saw one and have been thinking about it alot. I keep looking for $600 laying on the ground. i'm checking out other SS bikes in the $400 range, but keep getting drawn back to the Madison.

mustachoid - keep looking for used ones. I got lucky and snagged my 2008 frameset for under 200 bucks on eBay.

Tejano laying down the law.

I didn't see the original comment/image but any form of homophobia shouldn't be acceptable at all.

I'm not sure what the stock pedals are. Do you have clips? I'm assuming just about any strap will be fine. Check eBay. I know Bell's Bike Shop sells decent leather straps for around 10 bucks. Sometimes they do good clip/strap combos as well.

Right you are, I picked up a pair of black single strap clips (with straps included) for something like $13 from Bell's eBay store.

You can pick up leather Christophe straps (just about any normal color) at "The Bicycle Stable" on Frankford Ave (Philly) for $10.00, they will fit the factory plastic toe clips. You'll find the addy on thier site.

You know what gets rid of skunk smell with a single bath/wash?

Tomato juice.

No joke. Do it. Take a bath, with your bike, in a tub of tomato juice. Also post pictures.

do you really have to have a FULL tomato bath or can you just wipe yourself down with it?

honest random question, as a full bath would certainly be a very large quantity of tomato soup.
