Mini Tour?

I bought an LHT in January to use for commuting with the possibility of touring. The bike is well outfitted, but the front rack has mostly seemed to be useless, as I haven't had the time (or money) to tour.

As luck would have it, I had a couple of free days. I decided to ride 35 miles to a campground, stay the night, and ride back.

I ran across a guy on tour at the campground, and I ended up with a 120-mile, two-day adventure. I think I would have made it three days if I didn't have to work tomorrow.

Nothing wrong with that. I do S24O tours on occasion just to get away. The way I look at it anytime spent on a bicycle is a good time!

I'd say about half of my tours are two- or three-day affairs. Looks like you had fun!

It was a great trip, but I was jealous of the guy doing the real touring. Why can't I quit my job and let my wife support me.
