I have a 1974 cannondale bicycle lock that I have forgotten the combination to. I would like the general patteren to the combination. Then by trial and error I think I could open it. Any help would be appreciated.
If any one can help, you can send help to: john@mwsc.edu thanks.

If this is a spin dial combination lock then it's typically three positions Clockwise to the first, counterclockwise around past the first to the second, clockwise to the third I believe.
However, if you have 30 positions on the dial, you have 30x30x30=27000 combinations. You can expect to try half of these before getting the correct combo, assuming you didn't unknowingly screw up when you try the correct one!
You must REALLY like this lock!
