Thank you. Both bike and I are okay. Banged up knee kept me off for a bit. Riding again now but taking it easy.

Welcome to the forum.

I like a bike that can rock white cable housings.
I'm not always appreciative of Bianchi's color schemes.
Yours looks good.

No need to change bikes when you picked a great one first time around. Is the bike OK after the fall? Just kidding. What happened?

Thanks. I hit something while on my regular route. Instantly I was going over and into curb. The pic of the bike is after accident (and related repairs). The frame was unscathed.

Thanks guys. Actually this is the entry level Bianchi but is considered expensive in India. As you know in India people think that bicycles should not cost more than $100. After all the most common bike in India is the Ancient Roadster which actually costs less tha $100. I initially palnned to buy a BTwin Triban3 as that was the cheapest road bike but it was out of stock. So had to hike my budget and buy this one.

Glad to hear all is well. It's always that one second that you take your eye off the road is when you hit something. Rock, pothole, whatever.

Me on a ride out to Turkey Creek Nature Preserve Saturday.
Enjoyed a nice cool dip in the creek once we arrived.
On the '85 Trek 560.

As a bonus you get to see the false teeth, compliments of a bike crash back @ age 14.

vintage huffy holiday find. Bought it at a second hand shop for $60. A bit pricy but it was the exact bike I've always wanted ever since I got into cycling.

An hour? You are very lucky indeed and should not let that opportunity to get by you. It takes me at least an hour and 20 minutes to get there, and it's not a fun trip, whether by subway, car or bicycle. But it's totally worth it. I'm 53 years old and hardly ever raced before, back when I was 21, and thought I would try it this year. My goal this year is to be in ten races and to come in last every time. So far, so good. And it's a ton of fun. The people are nice, too.
