Looks like it works - - bell cranks-and-tie-rod steering - - dunno how well though. Think the Xtracycle way with the weight bias to the rear, rather than over the steering, would be much better.

Looks like a drag bike to me! I would buy it just to have a conversation piece!

Looks like the same basic design as the bakfiets you see all over the streets of Amsterdam - usually with 2 or 3 kids in the cargo area along with assorted other things:

They look very stable and serviceable being taken on assorted shopping and other utility trips.
