Inexpensive 650b wheelset or rims
I have an older (early 90's I think) Nishiki Modulus Road bike that I am considering converting to 650b for commuting purposes. I realize that it may be cheaper to just buy a different bike with better clearance, but would still like to price out the cost of converting this one.
I would like to keep the cost as low as possible, but am finding it very hard to find any 650b wheelsets for under $200. Does anyone have any recommendations? I am considering getting my local bike shop to build up the wheels on the existing rims, would this likely be a cheaper option (they charge roughly $40 per wheel).

Consider the 650A, 26 x 1-3/8". There are some choices, AE Bike has the Sun CR-18's and I think the prices are better for tires too.

650a, didn't think of that! I also see that you can get those nice Panaracer Col de la Vie's in 26 x 1-3/8" in that size.
When I look at aebike I see them listed as 26", I take it they mean 26 x 1 -3/8"?
