Welcome John to Bike Forums.
Ask for info in The Classic and Vintage Forum concerning the 1972 Puch.

Welcome to Bike Forums John! Cycling would help with the arthritis, a nice non-impact type of exercise that is gentle on your body. Start off just cycling around the neighborhood in easy time stretches. You will find yourself adding time as you improve.

We do have a 50+ forum here. You might have fun checking that section out. Good to see that you are cycling. You will feel good about it too.
