On his bike, Michael Rasmussen is used to dancing up the highest of mountains. Now he will try his hand at proper dancing. Rasmussen, also known as the Chicken from Tølløse, has just been selected as one of the participants in this year's "Vild med danse" (English "Wild With Dance"), a Danish reality show that pairs celebrities with professional dancers in a competition on Denmark's TV2.
"My wife says that I can't dance. But I'm positive that with hard work and persistence I can make up for my lack of talent, for I'm certainly no Fred Astaire," said Rasmussen.
Although the spindly mountain specialist feels more at home on the slopes of Mont Ventoux and the Col de Tourmalet, he's ready to try his hand at dancing.
"Dance is a far cry from my usual training, but after having thought about it a little more, I think it fits perfectly in my schedule, and I'm not afraid to take on a challenge," said Rasmussen.

I wonder who will be lifting whom in that duo.

I wonder if he'll be performing the roller-rink classic that's moved on to debase baseball games and wedding receptions all across the US with it's lame lyrics and schmaltzy accordian riffs.
