Yep, lots of people hate cyclists. This isn't the first page and won't be the last unfortunately.

Sometimes I hate cyclists too. Like the dude who nearly crashed into me yesterday coz he was riding brakeless. Or the dude riding down the wrong way street no hands no lights while on the pjhone and not being able to ride in a straight line. I hate some car drivers too like (well ya know) and I also hate the ones who are overtly careful (ie they lack confidence to drive).
I dont have many problems with airline pilots though. They make fatal mistakes sometimes, but it's never intentional like those pesky drivers. Motorcyclist are ok, apart from those learner scooter riders (especially the teenage punks). I also dislike police car drivers who turn on the sirens just to get past some traffic. Oh yeah before I forget, those dumb pedestrians that just stray into the road while chatting on the phone, cmpeltely oblivious to what's going on around them.

I'm not surprised frankly. Between the group rides in my county that 'take-a-lane' doing 20 in a 50 zone, the people in here who believe (without irony) that those yellow, advisory "SHARE THE ROAD" signs mean that they can ride self-righteously down the middle of the road, and the blatant red light & stop sign violations I see all the time...
Take a look in the A&S forum sometime. It's bizarre.

Big deal...
Seriously, what do we want to do about it? have and anti-anti-cycling page?
Some folks do not, will not, and are not able to like cyclist... No reason to fret about it.
As far as the demotivational poster, in general they are funny. Not saying that one is, but since I get a kick out of a lot of them, I think it would behypocritical to get upset over that one.
Besides, if you go to the "photos" page, it seems the bicyclist have pretty much swamped it with cycling related photos.

Unfortunately there is a lot of disregard for cyclist (both motoring and peddling). Luckily I live in a two-wheeled hot spot that is more and more friendly to the variety. But none the less there are people who simply have some sort of chip about it. The best thing to do is to ride as though you are invisible. Once a rider gets too comfortable around traffic, that's when it gets bad.
There will always be groups for and against things. It is too bad that there are groups that are against something that is genuinely good.

no, i was just surprised to see it. i'm not offended. i get yelled at everyday by drivers who don't see me and then react to my "coming out of nowhere". i just didn't think the idiots were organized enough to form a group, that's all.
