Cycling Advocate Political Cartoons
I ran across this cartoonist at a political cartoon site on and thought I'd share.
https://cagle.slate.msn.com/news/SingerCars/main.asp
Here's the cartoonists personal site. He even has a book and CD-ROM of cartoons that can be used to fight the proliferation of our car society.
Here is what the cartoonist says on his page: CARtoons site
CARtoons is a 100 page book published by Car Busters and distributed by AK Press. It looks at the impact of automobiles on American Society and the world. It features over 88 of my cartoons and illustrations as well as AUTObiographical text, facts, quotations, resources and a foreword by Jane Holtz Kay (author of Asphalt Nation). The book's images may be freely reproduced for the non-profit use of individuals or groups fighting cars. For this purpose, it comes with an optional CD-ROM containing all of the images in the book (and more) in 600 dpi, TIF format.
Pretty good stuff and right to the point.

I almost bought it but then changed my mind. I don't like giving my credit card # to strangers... who knows what they might do with it.
The list of online companies that I trust with my CC# is very short... Amazon.com, PayPal, Ebay, and a few others.

Yep,
"The burro knows more than you" contains all the spanish vowel sounds and the trilled double r. Learn to pronounce it correctly and the rest of your spanish will improve... or so they say.

I LOVE political cartoons. I've seen some great car ones, but not this many in one place. I didn't even know this guy existed. Thanks!

I've been enjoying the site since I posted this. I really had no idea that there were this many talented political cartoonists (dare I say "artists") producing this work.
I do like the cycling related stuff too.

I just found out tonight that the artist, Andy Singer, is going to be having a show in about a month, at the very place I have been volunteering for several months (it's sort of a cycling advocacy group HQ)! Unfortunately I won't be in town, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.
I've seen his stuff before and enjoyed it, but I never realized he lived so close to home.
