Greetings from a Bay Area biscuits & gravy lover :)
Hello beautiful bike forum family!
I will get straight to the point. The last time I rode a bike with a purpose was 5th grade, thanks to the 10 speed Huffy that "Santa" brought me. I know I was too old to believe in Santa at that age, but it was the one year my parents said I could have anything I wanted. So I thought I would challenge how real Santa was, and come up with a very detailed request for a new bike - pink curved handle bars, pink tires, purple frame, 10 speed, pink seat. Little did I know that bike actually existed. Thanks Huffy. I rode that thing around for years, thinking Santa and his elves slaved away in the paint and rubber dying shop to make a little girl's dreams come true. Boy did that have me believing in Santa for way longer than I should have...
Anyhow, I just acquired my first "real" bike since. It's a 27" Univega "Lawlee Design" Men's Road Bike. It's a bit dirty and needs some TLC, but that just makes me love it more. I feel the more I learn about it and work on it, the greater the bond will be.
I'm looking forward to getting to know many of you on here! I occasionally may talk about my two favorite things - biscuits and gravy, hehe. But I promise not to hijack or derail any threads.
Lots of love! Stay safe...

Aw, so cool! Just found a photo online for you. Someone's selling it on eBay for $25...so tempting to buy it and ride it around inside my apartment when no one's looking.
