Hey gang!! I'm a newbie from Denver. Carbon seat post issues...
I have a carbon seat post that needs adjusted, but it won't budge and I don't want to force it. I have completely taken off the fastener at the base of the seatpost at the frame. Any suggestions on a type of lube that works with Carbon? Thanks!

I'm assuming you need to lower the seat. Figure out how much you need to lower it, then cut that amount out of the middle of the seat post. Push a broom handle into the seat post to act as a splint, and tape it all together with duct tape.

Titaniumleg: Just about any lube will work on a carbon post. I'm not sure why you'd have a frozen carbon post. Not a lot of galvanic action can go on there. Have you got a saddle attached to the post? Use it for leverage to get the post out.

Normally, you use a special compound with carbon to improve grip. Either the wrong sized post was inserted or someone decided to remedy the slipping seat post problem with epoxy.
