1994 or 1995 Trek Single Track

I have an older Trek I love! I will need a new rigid fork but everything seems to be "suspension" corrected. If my old fork has an axle to crown measurement of 395 mm, how bad would it be to get a fork with an axle to crown of 410 or 415 mm?

What model/size/color is the Trek? I have a Trek fork lying around collecting dust.

I also have a green ice purple fade fork off of a 95 trek 930. It came off a 18 inch frame.

Thanks, It turns out to be a 1993 Trek Single Track. I ended up buying a Surly 1 x 1 Fork and everything seems okay.
