On Wheels Brazil

This is a cool video about a collection of car-free people in Brazil.

The lady with the pink hair riding the tricycle was kind of neat.

I was also impressed with the guy who uses his bike to collect sea shells that his wife forms into sculptures and then he uses his bike as a display case to sell them on the streets. Or the photographer who went from bicycle to motorcycle and back again.

It's a lifestyle that more and more of us may be facing.

You think? I saw a guy on a MTB yesterday with a large duffel bag on his back and two huge clear plastic bags filled with empty pop cans dangling off the bag... I'd say he had well over 200 cans.

I'm guessing those people are all around us.

I like the seashell idea. It seemed very innovative, but it seemed like such a tenuous way to live. (Kind of reminds me of some things I was forced to do years ago... just to keep the wolf from the door)
