FSA Gimondi cranks

Anyone see these in person? Comment on their quality?

Per FSA, 149mm when used with a 103mm JIS BB. Not sure of the chainline you get with a 103 BB. The latest version comes with the shield, rather than the signature. Yes, I know they are a copy of a Campy, but they are 130mm BCD, come with warranty, and are under $100 with a 42t chainring.

Of all the Campy copies that have recently surfaced, I like FSA's version the least.

Yes, I agree that the IRQ is more pleasing, but the bling costs another $100 since I want a 42t chainring. I want something for my 1971 Schwinn Super Sport conversion to fixed without killing my budget and $80 seemed to be a good comprimise for my first fixed.

If you want the 42t ring, that's a good deal then.

Looks pretty damn ugly. Id look for a used crankset somewhere. I bet you could find one with a 43t ring. I might even have one or 3 laying around for $80 or less...

I have a 42T 144BCD lying around.
but, I may have to get those IRD Defiaints, instead of my worshipped OMNOMNOMS...they're just turning me on.

You have been talking about the Omnomnom's for ever. Dont pick up something else now. You will regret it.

True. And as nice as the IRDs are, they won't look right on what I think you plan on building.
