Bruce Gordon Chinook

So I mentioned it as a possible trade for the De Rosa but maybe someone else will want to trade.

First off, what I have, Bruce Gordon Chinook from '87 or so, made by Bruce with Columbus SL tubing, lots of beautiful lugs, but needs a paint job due to surface rust in some spots. The brake cable guides on the top tube are pretty rusty as well. C2C Seat tube is 56.5cm and C2C top tube is 57.5cm.

What I would like in trade: Something with steel, lugged is preferred but not a show stopper. I like Lemonds, Waterfords, Gunnars, Ciocc's, Bob Jackson's, Eddy Merckx's, etc. I like frames in 56cm x 56cm sizing, but a nice 60-62cm touring or cross would be cool for my brother, or a nice 50cm would be great for my wife. Either reply to this or email at mechanicmatt13 (at) yahoo [dot] com.

Have: 80" Peugeot Competition model, PKN10E. 64cm (It's a big one) Beautiful Metallic Blue paint and Yellow decals. 3 tube Reynolds 531. I do have some components for it too but i'm trying to trade for another french bike possibly. I wish i could keep this bike forever and just look at it but what fun is that!

Want: Another Peugeot! Anywhere from 56cm to 59cm. 80's with stripes and chrome is a plus, Reynolds is a plus. I've always wanted the super competition model with full 531 in white. Even a different french bike but i'm pretty dead set on a pug, Open to other offers as well that are not French. I'm actually looking for a decent track frame too with columbus steel as well.

Message me for more pics and info, Thanks!

I have finally accepted that this bike is a little too small, so I already bought a new frame. I do not know if this the right place to put this, but I am looking to trade for parts to build up the new bike.
For Trade:
Measures 59 c-c seat tube, 57.5 cm c-c top tube, 126 spacing, includes Dura Ace seatpost in correct 27.4 size.
I need parts to build my new frame, brifters only, 130 spacing. Here's a pic, but not for trade:
Not to sound like a Jerk, but I really like this bike, and if I cant find the right deal I will probably keep it and see if I shrink.
Thanks

Have a 64cm Gary Fisher Triton, fixed or SS frame with track forks. Will include headset, fork, bottom bracket, seatpost.
(I'll upload a picture hopefully soon, my photobucket isn't working. I have a pic on the ISO and for trade thread, page 403)

I want a 59-64cm road frame, not SS.

Does this have shifter bosses? Do you know is it drilled for a Portacatena or do have a good pic of the right dropout? What kind of brifters?

Hello, I just wanted to update, the Ross posted above has gone to a good home and is no longer available for trade. Thank you to everyone who responded and thank you to bike forums for providing this space!
I was visiting my hometown, I hadn't been there in years, and went in to the bike shop I worked at as a kid 25 years ago. The owner, my old boss was there, and even though he is mostly a BMX shop now, he still has some lustworthy classics (all my size, too!) and we agreed on a deal to get my new bike built up. I feel good about it, I still know where it is and may be able to get it back (throw in that Redkay, '74 Colnago, and the Pink, Lugged, Prestige Team Stumpy I've always wanted), also I sold that mint, '83 Smoked Chrome NORBA GT Bmx bike to you for $100 (in 1987), I'll give $150 for it

Like your 564, but that is too small for my wife, and I am really more of a steel lover now a days. She rides in more of a 50 to 52cm range...

I have a too-tall '86 Miyata 912 (60cm, I think), and would trade it complete with Shimano 600 drivetrain and brakes, or frame only. I need something smaller, preferably 53-54cm. I'm in Southern California.

Have: 1995 GT Backwoods. 16" C-T. Frame is sound, cosmetically a bit chipped. Well ridden and wants more, too small for my needs. I am looking for a GT Backwoods, Timberline, Karakorum (canti rear brake please) or other Mid-'90's MTB in 18-20" size range. I have the Dr hanger for it if you are wondering.

1985 62cm Univega Gran Rally. Built by Miyata. Fantastic frame, too big for me. I'll throw in a seatpost. Looking for a three speed hub or complete wheel. Let me what interesting stuff you have. Maybe model train stuff. Or beer.

I have a 54cm Peugeot frame, it's about an '88 model PY-10/P with common thread sizes in Reynolds 531P tubing. It has been repainted and the "rainbow" stripes are gone, but it's in good condition- no dents or cracks. the fork is chrome, but not the original one. It's currently built up with European parts except for the Suntour downtube shifters, rear derailleur (Suntour Edge), and Suntour 6-Speed freewheel. The thing is is that I'm an old fart that weighs 200 lbs., and I would prefer a touring machine with a triple crank and fender eyelets. I'll trade the bare frame or the whole bike for a nice equal value, give or take , touring bike/or frame, or even a modern hybrid bike with 700C wheels and a suspension fork, long as it's in my size. I would prefer a vintage European bike, but an Asian machine would be considered. Thanks for reading this. Here's some pics:

It's time to admit my first touring rig doesn't fit...

Have: 1984 56cm c-to-c Centurion Pro Tour in Gold
.
Paint is about a 7 of 10, but like all Pro Tours is chromed underneath, so no obvious surface rust. Only other frame oddity is that I bent a screw in the under-the-downtube water bottle bosses which needs to be drilled out. Original rear rack will be included.

Want: 58-61cm high-quality steel road frame

Any mid to high end steel consided: Reynolds, Columbus, Tange, Ishiwata, etc. Would prefer something built around relatively standard bottom bracket (British or Italian), seat post etc.

Depending on the trade I can include everything from fork/frame to seatpost, to a full mostly era-correct, mostly stock build. Located in the Twin Cities of Minnesota.

A pic from a while back -- more detailed photos upon request.

86 Miyata 710 49cm c-c seat tube, no issues.
I would trade for something stiff & light like this, but in 54cm seat tube.
I'm in Texas near Houston.

I have a complete '71 Raleigh International in a small size (20.5-21"). Original paint, fork chrome has rust on blades, small dent in downtube down by bottom bracket. I'm planning to use the parts on one of my other frames. Love to trade the frame for something similar, old and interesting in a 56cm or so.

I have many Cannondale 63cm SR framesets and/or complete bikes from the first generation, a 3.0, CAD3,CAD4,CAAD5,
Giant Team CFR carbon fiber,63cm, 27" Fuji Royale II.

I seek a Cannondale ST800 or ST1000 in 27" (68,5cm) with cantilever brakes. Whole bike or F&F.

Picked up this frame without measurements in hope that it would fit, but it is toooooo long.

It is a Casati With Pantographed shifters and a record headset.
59.5 c-c seatube
60.5 c-c toptube
27.2 seatpost
Italian BB
Not sure on the tubing
All Internal cable routing including both shifter cables.
No dents or dings, some surface rust and paint chips, plenty of pics available.

I need something with a 57-58 top tube of similar quality

Thanks,
Jake

Searching for a vintage mixte. Frame size approximately 48-50 cm.

May have a 1984 Basso Gap frame to trade. May = meaning I won't have it in my hands for another month.

Will look similar to this.
