coast down test to approximate power
This is for the physics majors out there:
Since power= force x velocity and force=mass x acceloration
Can I approximate my power output for a given velocity on a flat road by doing a simple
test like this: On a flat road ride at a constant 20mph then coast for say 10 seconds and see what my speed is (the decelaration) and do the test at different starting speeds. I realize acceloration is not linear.
